John Perkins. I have not heard of this author before because I do not read many

books that are about the economy works and is run.

Genre:

The genre of this book is a bit of a thriller in my opinion. This book outlines the

cause of the economic recession and how we have been hoodwinked by the people

that run our own country. The people that would read this book are people who

enjoy lots of suspenseful information that relates to them, also anyone who is

interested in politics or global economies. I typically do not read these kinds of

books but this may change because the book is very interesting. So far I have really

enjoyed this book but I’m not sure about the whole genre of political and economic

books.

Title:

The title of the book brought interest into the book. The words “an economic hit

man” interested me very much and pulled me in. I think that it fits very well with

the ideals and topics that the book discuses.

Pictures/Book Jacket/Cover/Printing:

The Cover of the book says that it is all about numbers and money, and the

importance of the economic hit man. The cover of the book did not make me too

excited , but the title was more compelling. These are no pictures in the book.
