Brand Loyalty
Brand loyalty is something that all business want and need to be successful. Companies try and store brand emotional thoughts about the brand in our minds. These loyalties are based on promises and weather the company lives up to them or not. Brands try to make a culture of their own so people will follow that culture. When the people join or follow this culture they are apart of it and this is where the brand loyalty begins. This called a tribe of followers, these people are attached, and follow that brand. These companies infuse their culture into everything that they do and all of their products so that he people will get hooked on everything. To get the people to become loyal they have to deliver on the promises that they had promises. also the brand has to be strong enough to attract a psycho-graphic. this is a category of like minded and like natures consumers. For example when apple can out with the iPod they gave it white headphones. This is a visual signature, So now people can distinguish the headphones just by the color. there has to be a deep desire to be a individual but there is more of a desire to be apart of a society. All brands can make an emotional connection with the consumer but the successful ones live up to their promises. Brands have to the elevate the emotions attached to the product in order to gain brand loyalty. Many of the brands out there today don't want to put the time and effort into putting an emotional effect into their product because it costs lots of money. many Brands try to barter and buy brand loyalty instead of trying to win it. more customers are willing to go steady if they are rewarded for it. Like and optimum card. Harley Davidson created a culture of riders in the 90's. In the past they has struggled, but with some film popularity it attacked middle aged man that wanted to feel younger and more bad. Their brand loyalty was built on luck, circumstance, and a near death financial experience. It became a symbol for a myth about manhood. That is how Harley Davidson got such a big culture of riders. the customers have to share a history with the brand and that what makes them loyal. This is called building a moat around your brand. Brand loyalty is something that ever business wants and hopes to have but they have to be successful.
